Myra has been featured in a recent article in the Basingstoke Gazette, following our latest launch across the Basingstoke area.
The Myra app is designed to help local residents, family carers, and older adults navigate hospital discharge and ongoing care with confidence. The free app brings together local and national resources including; care assessments, equipment suppliers, support groups, and financial or legal guidance – all in one easy-to-use place.
“Too many patients stay in hospital longer than they need to, simply because families don’t know what to do or where to find the right information,” said Nicola Murgatroyd, CEO of Kuradocs Ltd.
“Myra helps to change that by putting everything people need at their fingertips – whether it’s equipment, care services, or financial advice. We’re delighted to launch this resource in Basingstoke to support patients, carers, and the wider health system.”
Delayed discharges cost the NHS around £6 million per day nationwide, with around £60,000 of that daily cost estimated locally. By giving families access to reliable, easy-to-find information, Myra aims to help people return home sooner and with less stress.
